Legislative Action Committees
Legislative Action Committees or Coalitions (LAC’s) are community-based groups established by parents and residents or sometimes local school boards. Members are active advocates for public policies that positively impact schools and students. They provide information, educate and advise their local school boards, community members and Legislators. They are grassroots and they are influential.
