We’re listening:
Early Learning in Minnesota
All children deserve access to strong early learning experiences. How can we ensure we are providing these for every child in our state in settings that work for every community?
Think Small, along with its Minnesota’s Future partners will be hosting a listening session to discuss ways to make sure all children get a great start that gets them ready for school and helps them to become strong readers and successful learners.
Themes heard will be reported to the Minnesota Departments of Education, Health and Human Services for use in planning successful policies, programs and practices.

MDE: Parent/guardian focus groups on student testing reports–See Multiple days/locations

MDE is working on a redesign of the Individualized Student Reports (ISRs) provided to parents or guardians each year with test results on the MCA tests. We are recruiting parents or guardians in your region to participate in a focus group to give input on the report mock-ups being considered for 2016.

The goal of the redesign is to deliver improved student reports that provide clear, concise information as well as graphics of the test results.

We are asking for feedback about what is easiest to understand, which elements provide the most beneficial information, and what additional information can be provided to help with the interpretation and usefulness of the reports.

Lunch or dinner will be provided.
