ASCD’s EdCamp

Attend Minnesota ASCD’s first ever EdCamp – this event will be specifically focused on education policy.

What is an EdCamp?  EdCamp is a participant-guided conference, with no keynotes or vendors.  The agenda for the day is developed at the beginning of the event, by the participants attending, based on their interests and priorities.

Why a policy EdCamp? This is a critical year for education policy development in our state (testing, due process, teacher development and evaluation, LEAP legislation, achievement gap and disproportional suspension concerns, funding, etc.). We have scheduled this EdCamp to coincide with the legislative session.

Who will be attending?  All education stakeholders are invited to attend – this is a public event. Parents, educators, administrators, community members, and legislators are welcome.
