2015 Parent Leadership Summit: The Imperative for 21st Century Learning

RelatePicsArtWe are kicking off the school year with a truly wonderful event: our annual Parent Leadership Summit. Come have lunch with us and share in some amazing conversation!

The education system has been focused on testing for a decade, yet we see little improvement in closing achievement gaps. We would like to disrupt the current dialogue! What is “The Imperative for 21st Century Learning?” Hear what the Search Institute and Minnesota Humanities Center have discovered makes the difference for our children’s learning. You may be very surprised!

Ask your site councils, your PTAs, your friends and neighbors to join us as we explore what this new imperative might mean for our schools!

$35 includes lunch. Scholarships are available. Please contact laura@parentsunited for more information.

PLEASE REGISTER: RESERVE YOUR PLACE TODAY!

Bonus: Join us at 10 am to network with Legislative Action Committee (LAC) members from other school districts. LAC’s are a great way for parents to influence policy makers around issues they care about in education.
