Legislative Agendas

Learn about these entities' legislative priorities.

How to Use Legislative Agendas

  1. Read them to educate yourself. Know the facts and understand the issues.

  2. Pass your understanding on to others:
    • Post the agenda and information sheet on bulletin boards in your communities
    • Publish the information in your parent group newsletters or bulletins
    • Present the issues to your circle of family and friends, or a group in your school or neighborhood

  3. Mail the agenda along with a short, hand-written note to your state representative or senator. Share your concerns. Let them know you are one of their constituents and that the well-being of all children is important to you.

  4. Know who represents you and how to contact them.
