Other states used to say, “If only our schools could be as good as Minnesota’s.” One state actually put up a “Beat Minnesota” banner in their Department of Education. We may have lost four Superbowls, but we ruled in education. Now, an anti-education sentiment is pushing our children into the backwaters of educational mediocrity.
