New email address provides simpler path for the public to weigh in

Saint Paul – It just became easier for busy financial, business and development professionals to forward their ideas to The Governor’s 21st Century Tax Reform Commission.

The commission in now accepting input by email at taxreform.feedback@state.mn.us. Public testimony is also welcome at all meetings of the commission, which will deliver its final report and revenue-neutral recommendations to Gov. Tim Pawlenty by Dec. 1.

Gov. Pawlenty established the commission to examine how Minnesota’s tax code can be improved and modernized to foster new jobs and encourage economic growth in a fast-changing, highly competitive and increasingly global economy.

“Public input from the business and public policy community is vital to the panel’s work,” said commission chairman Mike Vekich

The Governor’s 21st Century Tax Reform Commission meets twice monthly at the Department of Revenue, 600 N. Robert St., Saint Paul.
