November 2007 - Academic Arts Standards Revision In Process

The Minnesota Academic Standards in the Arts Revision Committee began work in September to review the present arts standards, review information generated by the statewide online surveys and identify potential changes to the standards based on input from a variety of sources.

A public review and comment period took place November 1– 20.

The revised standards will go out for expert review in January and February. The final document is scheduled to be delivered to Commissioner Seagren February 29, 2008.
