At the Capitol

Parents United monitors every education committee hearing at the State Capitol with an eye toward removing barriers to student achievement. We track and analyze education legislation to provide information to parents about the pros and cons of legislation and how they can influence state-level decisions

Parents who want to influence these decisions need to have an understanding about how schools are funded, governed and how the legislative process works.
