Subject: State Education Funding
Rep. Kelliher,
Thank you for your time. Felt compelled to write to you regarding education funding in Minnesota. One of the biggest issues in my mind is the continual lack of fully funding "special education" requirements mandated by our Federal Government. Local levy referendums that continually plague our neighborhoods aren't the answer. They pit one neighbor against another and are a sorry way to have to conduct business. It is long overdue for all of our state legislators to shift partisanship aside and join together in once again making Minnesota a true leader in education and education funding. I can only hope to see the day, where education, efficiently administered, is a fully funded virtue that we can pass along to future generations.
