I implore you to find a better way to fund our schools.  My community, the Stillwater Area School District, has been torn apart by the fight to get a levy passed this year.  If it doesn't pass, 11% of the schools' budget will need to be cut.  Trying to explain to a community why we need to ask for this much money is a true challenge.  They all grew up in a time when the State properly funded education.  It is difficult to convince them that these levies are now critical to simply keeping class sizes below 40.

The school funding system is terribly broken.  Please make fixing the school funding situation a priority.
