Estabish parent representatives at each school in the district to serve as Site Coordinators.
Host informational meetings to help these parents better understand education finance with the district finance director, legislators, and education organizations such as:
Invite public school principals and parents to attend and participate.
Have sign up sheets at these meetings and school events for those who would like to get updates on school funding decisions and ways they can be involved in the decision-making process.
Provide copies of Parents United fact sheets and brochures for parents to take home to become more directly involved.
Establish a List Serv and keep parents updated.
Initiate a "10 for 10" campaign.
