Craig Roen has two children attending Saint Paul Public Schools where he has been a site council member at Groveland Park Elementary, sat on a district budget committee, spearheaded a funding reform effort and is a volunteer tutor. He is also a consistent advocate for public schools. Craig strongly believes that a robust public school system that provides real opportunity for all children is a central and critical element of our society. "I am a product of a public school education; all the way from kindergarten through law school. The foundation of my opportunities and good fortune has been an excellent education. The opportunities that our generation received from an excellent public school education may not be there for our children if we don't invest in our schools over the long term.
