Important Committees

One of the most important things you can do is monitor the work of the Education Committees and be in contact with the committee members.

The committees relevant to public education changed after the Fall 2008 elections! For updated committee information, see:

Reminder

Whenever talking or writing to committee members, remind them:

  • "As a committee member, you represent ALL Minnesota children, families and schools."

    OR

  • "Minnesota parents are concerned about ALL Ages & Stages of Education. We want our children to arrive at Kindergarten ready for school. We want them to graduate from high school prepared for higher ed."

Remember to copy your local legislators (and possibly the Governor) each time you contact a committee member. They need to be kept in the loop on your concerns!
