There are lots of ways people can help you organize a letter-writing event:
- Copy and distribute promotional flyers for the event
- Write and make copies of sample letters to provide a selection
- Come prepared to help other people write their letters—Letter-writing can be very hard! Recruit a few volunteers willing to help answer questions and assist struggling writers.
- Bring music and food to make the event more fun
- Invite the press
- Bring energy, imagination, & creativity along with their suggestions
