February 15, 2005 - Early Learning Standards in Minnesota focus of Joint Hearing

The newly released Early Childhood Indicators of Progress: Minnesota’s Early Learning Standards will be the focus of a Joint Hearing of the Senate Early Childhood Policy and Budget Division and Senate Education Committee on February 15, 2005. At least two bills have been submitted this legislative session:

S.F. 592 - Kierlan: Early childhood learning standards and quality rating system.
S.F.906-Kelley:Early childhood developmental screening provisions modifications; school readiness kindergarten assessment initiative
