Time is Running Out

The opportunity to influence state education funding over the next two years is quickly disappearing.  With less than two weeks remaining in the 2009 Legislative Session, Governor Pawlenty and legislators are making decisions that will affect the level of funding our schools will receive for the next two years.  Their decisions will have a dramatic impact on the quality of education available to our students.  To protect education and invest in our future, ALL options have to be on the table including an increase in state taxes. We need your help! 

The time is NOW to urge the Governor and Lawmakers to:

• Protect education funding
• Adopt the New Minnesota Miracle funding framework and phase it in over time
• Keep ALL options on the table - including an increase in state taxes
