There is an important action taking place today—April 21, an action that will help our voices be heard loudly and in unison. IF you believe that our state needs a balanced solution to our continuing deficit problems AND that that solution means everyone paying their fair share of taxes please take part in the Call the Capitol Day today!

Make two easy phone calls to your own elected state legislators

1. Find your state representative and senator and their phone numbers by going to http://www.gis.leg.mn/mapserver/districts/ 
 
2. Call them with the following message:

My name is _______________ and I am a constituent in your district. 

I am calling to let you know that I support raising revenues fairly.  We cannot solve the current budget shortfall without adequate funding for public services that Minnesotans count on to make ends meet.  We need a balanced solution, including a balanced tax system where everyone pays their fair share.

4. Minnesota Council of NonProfits is tracking these calls and they want to know how your calls go!  Please contact Leah Gardner at 651-757-3063 or leah@mncn.org to let us know how many calls you were able to make and how they went.
