April 14, 2009 - Klobuchar STAFF Announces Additional Education Forum Stops to Hear from Minnesota Educators and Parents

Minnesotans encouraged to submit suggestions for reform at local meetings and on Klobuchar’s Senate website

WHAT:
Today U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar’s staff announced additional K-12 Education Forums throughout Minnesota to hear from educators, parents, administrators and community members about education reform and their views on the federal No Child Left Behind law, which is up for reauthorization by Congress this year.  Klobuchar wants to know what education reforms at the federal level would best serve Minnesota schools and their students.
 
Klobuchar’s staff is holding a series of education forums throughout the state during April and May to get Minnesotans’ thoughts on the No Child Left Behind law.
