WHAT: Beginning today, U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar’s staff will hold K-12 Education Forums throughout Minnesota to hear from educators, parents, administrators and community members about education reform and their views on the federal No Child Left Behind law, which is up for reauthorization by Congress this year. Klobuchar wants to know what education reforms at the federal level would best serve Minnesota schools and their students. During the next two months, Klobuchar and her staff will hold a series of education forums throughout the state to get Minnesotans’ thoughts on the No Child Left Behind law. ON THE WEB: Minnesotans can also submit suggestions and find out the dates and locations of future forums by visiting the education reform page of Senator Klobuchar’s website at http://klobuchar.senate.gov/nclb.cfm. Minnesotans can also access the feedback form from the education reform link on the homepage at http://klobuchar.senate.gov/.
