Join the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits at our annual Children's Briefing on Thursday, December 4 where we will explore issues relevant to Minnesota’s smallest residents and the organizations who work on their behalf. Speakers include legislative leaders and nonprofit advocates who work on a variety of children's issues including education, health care, and child care.
Speakers include:
- A representative from the MN Obama presidential campaign describing what President-elect Obama’s platform will mean for children
- Mark Kimball, Children’s Defense Fund – MN, on federal budget
- Carole Specktor, Children’s Defense Fund – MN, on state budget
- Speaker of the House Margaret Anderson Kelliher (invited)
- Legislative leaders from the Early Childhood Caucus
- Rep. Mindy Greiling on the New Minnesota Miracle
- Chris Ganzlin from the McKnight Foundation on the Early Childhood Business Plan
